http://kontain.com/fiFi was approached by Zeus Jones to develop a prototype for a new web application that would bring the natural, organically grown relationship between the Nordstrom personal sales expert and their exclusive customers to the digital sphere.

Features
The Nordstrom Backroom is an invitation-only service where customers can browse and purchase fashion items which Nordstrom salespeople select for them using the Backroom CMS.
The Backroom CMS interface affords a What You See Is What You Get look into each of their customers' Backrooms and message boards, allowing them to easily manage the items as well as customer information.
The design conveys a luxurious look-and-feel graphically and interactively through the use of smooth transitions, modern typography and a color palette inspired by fine fabrics and precious metals.

Swedish Heritage
Nordstrom was founded in Seattle in 1901 by John W. Nordstrom, a Swedish immigrant who made his early fortune in the Klondike, Alaskan gold mines. What first opened as a modest shoe store, quickly grew into the fashion retail leader it is today with over 150 stores in 28 US states.
